Students’ fingertips may hold a clue to their academic test scores, a British study found out. 75 children aged 6-7 at a British elementary school. The subjects’ hands were photocopied and the length of their fingers measured. They checked the children’s math and verbal scores on a standardized British academic exam, then compared the test scores and finger length data, especially the ratio of the length between the children’s index and ring fingers.
The results say that:
Among boys, a low ratio of index finger length to ring finger length was associated with higher math scores. But that ratio wasn’t associated for better or worse with boys’ verbal test scores.
The opposite was true for girls. Among girls, a low ratio of index finger length to ring finger length was linked to better verbal test scores, but not to any patterns in girls’ math test scores. WebMD.com

The Adobe Photoshop CS 3 since its release on December 2006 has already reached millions of downloads. The beta version is available as a shareware, which means you have to register the software after 30 days by buying your own copy to continue using it. This poses a dilemma to photoshop users who cannot afford for a copy.
I installed my copy a month ago which expired few days ago. I’ve searched the web for cracks or serials that will permanently activate my copy but it seemed that there’s none available yet. Good thing my brother recommended a trick to extend my trial period by adjusting the date and time setting of my PC. In my case I adjust the date before the installation date when I want to use Adobe Photoshop.

It gives free download links of medical e-books like Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine, Nelson’s Essentials of Pediatrics and a lot more. It categorizes books through various fields for easier navigation.
Most of the e-books are hosted by RapidShare.com, which puts the downloads limited to RapidShare premium users. I’ve been looking for a RapidShare.com premium links generator to let me download the files with premium-user advantage but could not find any. If you know any program, please inform me.
