I was reading the Philippine top blog, Mukamo.com, and an entry struck my attention. We can now receive Paypal payments! Finally!
Philippine netrepreneurs and average online money makers have been waiting for this opportunity. Paypal is one of the major payment methods of online money-making opportunities like eBay, ReviewMe and others, it’s one of the limiting factors.
The Paypal for Philippines campaign made way for this new improvement. Thanks to the initiators of this campaign.
Now, my next problem is how to get a credit card.

Philadelphia doctors say “yes!”
A new interesting treatment is being tested by Philadelphia doctors to restore life and bring people back from the dead.
A cardiac arrest patient was saved by the new experimental treatment of chilled saline injection. Cooling pads are then wrapped around a patient. The body temperature is normally 98 degrees, but cooling brings it down to 92 degrees. Doctors keep it there for about 24 hours. This process is called intentional hypothermia. Accordingly, it decreases cellular injury when the cells are deprived of oxygen, so with less injury we are able to do a better job of getting people back.

These past days, I thought I’d lose this site forever; my domain expired because of my carelessness. I have acquired this domain from Hostbidder for free through posting. Because it’s free, I should be ready for consequences, one of it is the expiration issues. And I thought I was, until I opened this site last week and it says the domain has expired. From that experience, I’ve learned 10 ways to avoid domain expiry.
1. Know the domain expiry date (of course!). Usually the expiry date falls on the same date one year after the creation date. If you are not sure about the expiry date, you can check your domain registrar or perform a whois lookup.
2. Remember the domain expiry date. Put reminders on your cell phone, on a notebook, or your computer, etc. Set the reminder 1 month prior to the expiry date so you’ll be alerted earlier than the expiry date.
3. Choose your domain registrar. It should be the utmost concern of the domain registrant. Choose a domain registrar with good and active support staff. I’ve tried a domain registrar before which took several days to reply to my support tickets.

I recently joined Yahoo! Green, a Yahoo! campaign on saving the planet from emission of carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas behind global warming. By joining, you will know how many tons of carbon dioxide you will save per year with your pledged tasks.
Here are my pledged tasks:
1. Air dry my clothes instead of using the dryer. It also saves power!
2. Carpool, take public transit one day per week instead of driving to work. I don’t have my own car so I always take public transportation.
3. Replace my old refrigerator with new energy star one. We’ve been using one ever since.
4. Go meatless for one meal each week.
