Sitting for 10 hours, listening to lectures, is really exhausting! We started the seminar at 8 am and ended at 5 pm! I think my butt sores. Haha.
Anyway, it was an emergency cases approaches seminar like acute abdomen, sensorial changes from clouding of consciousness to coma, acute dyspnea or difficulty in breathing, chest pains, poisoning, etc. Some lectures were interesting maybe because of the effort of the lecture not to make the audience sleepy. I fell asleep during lecture about chest pain. The lecturer was fine except that I can’t understand his words all because of his “American accent.” I don’t get it why he has to “sound like an American” when he only have stayed in the states for not more than 5 years during his master’s degree. I would have appreciated his lecture better if I had understood what he was talking about. It’s not that I don’t understand the Americans, it is just that when he speaks he swallows some words to sound “slang” as the Filipinos term it.
During the last parts of the seminar, I just talked with my co-Smallville fan. Haha. We did nothing but talk about Lana Lang and Clark Kent and everything about Smallville.
