Google Adsense is DOWN?
I have to write about this. This was supposed to be an entry the other night.
I installed a forum for my free hosting using Simple Machines Forum the other night. All features were set, the forums were added, but one modification “does not work” – the Ad Management mod. That was what I thought. I couldn’t allow this (no Adsense) to happen so I modified the templates, and because I am not that expert in PHP, I messed up everything. I thought my only option to keep everything to work was uninstalling it and re-start another installation. It was easy to unistall but it takes a lot of patience and time when installing. But I need not worry because FireFTP does its work well. Only that I have to make the posts I made a while ago, again. *sigh*
While waiting for everything to upload, I decided to visit my sites. I noticed that my Adsense ads were “gone.” I panicked. Was my account banned? So I immediately checked my e-mail, hoping not to read an e-mail from the Google team. It was a relief when I saw only 3 e-mails in my inbox, fortunately none came from Google. I visited other sites and it was an additional relief when I couldn’t see any Google Adsense, too. “Google’s down.” I thought. And I thought, too, that it’s cool to write about it (Google “downtime”). Then I realized that the buttons in the rich text editor were also gone! I thought that there maybe something “wrong” with my Firefox browser. Then, I suddenly remembered that I installed the No Scripts extensions yesterday, which blocks all scripts including Google Adsense! Haha.
Anyway, the exam’s over! Yahoo!
