that’s great news! i hope that this time alternative fuel or energy sources for vehicles and other machines would be recognized by the public and also the government. a big problem are the petroleum companies who would do everything to block this or stop this. also, most car manufacturers who make hybrid vehicles that look weird and ugly so customers won’t buy them.

Sad thing is, the government usually protects these giant companies and ignore these new inventions. It’s true that these giant companies contributes much taxes to the government, but the government does not like to think on how much could we cut off expenses if these new inventions can be made available to all.

That maybe true but giant oil and gas companies will try to block this from entering the common market by buying out the patent rights and shove it down the drain. They tend to loose billions of dollars if this ever comes into fruition. I hope this technology that big should be protected by the government and promoted openly. This is the only way for the big companies to stay away.

Maybe scientists should look at the potential of rice hull as fuel for these taxi cabs? That would be another interesting invention.

That someday may be a long wait. You also have to consider the fact that a growing number of taxi cabs are using LPG for fuel.
