Make Firefox Load Faster – Optimization Tweaks, Tools, Tips and Extensions

Recently, I had a problem with the loading time of my sites, including this one and it’s subdomains. I thought it was a host problem and posted a support question at their forums but the members said it loads pretty fast. I could not tell that it was due to the design of the site because I was not having this problem even before. So I tested it through Internet Explorer and this site loads faster, uh surprisingly. I totally forgot about Internet Explorer until I encountered this problem. So I am posting through IE when I am posting this one. :-D

Figuring out how this problem can be fixed, I found these quite useful links to optimize Firefox and make it loads faster.

Firefox Optimization: (You have to change some of the config files)
- Improving Memory Usage: In this article, the author provided a step-by-step process of killing the amount of RAM Firefox uses for it’s cache feature, increasing the speed of Firefox in loading pages, kill RAM usage to 10mb when FF is minimized.
