This was what I have read in their blog:

<blockquote>As promised, we’ve started to roll out unlimited email storage to Yahoo! Mail users worldwide today. When it hits your account, you’ll notice the storage meter has disappeared — meaning, you just don’t have to worry about deleting old messages ever again!

As a reminder, while we wish we could simply flip a switch and “unlimit” everyone at once, we’ll be rolling this out over a few months to facilitate a smooth transition. Thanks for your patience.

Happy emailing!

John Kremer
Vice President, Yahoo! Mail</blockquote>

Never fancied Yahoo Mail since I viewed my very first webpage years ago.

My first e-mail account was a Hotmail account. I still use it, but I love Gmail. The only reason I had a yahoo mail was because I needed an id for Yahoo chat messenger. ;)

I've been using Yahoo as my primary email account for the past few years but now, I'm slowly shifting to Gmail. And yeah, one of the main reasons is the spam filter. :)

I am still on <del datetime="2007-04-01T03:25:06+00:00">a</del> Yahoo! Mail because I could say I am more used to it, somehow. I think I am used to receiving spam with my Yahoo! Mail account so I can still tolerate it. Haha. I have Gmail account though which I rarely use.

I still am using my Yahoo! Mail account as a "registration" email for most unimportant Web services I use---I somehow call it my "spam" inbox. But, I don't think I'd go back to using it as my primary inbox anytime soon since Google Apps for Your Domain still has a "virtually unlimited", 2-Gibibyte cap, which is more than enough for my needs.
